Revealing Our $10K Bedroom Giveaway: A Modern Day Retreat in North Perth

With existing paint colours and flooring already in place, Granite Lane's primary goal was to infuse the bedroom with a timeless yet modern ambiance, using comfortable furnishings that could adapt as the client's lifestyle evolves.

To achieve a harmonious balance between masculine and feminine aesthetics, the team thoughtfully curated a cosy atmosphere with natural tones, textures and wood accents, ensuring both husband and wife would feel their vision of the perfect home reflected in the space.

"Blending existing interiors with our new furniture pieces is always an exciting challenge," says Bianca, Lead Stylist at Granite Lane. "We’re used to it, as about 50% of our clients work within existing spaces, and it's a task we truly enjoy."

For this project, Granite Lane successfully integrated the Australian-made Retreat Bed, upholstered in Zepel Fabrics' Akoya Bone—a contemporary take on velvet with a beautifully subtle, illuminated finish. Paired with the Cloud Rug in Natural, it introduced the perfect blend of organic tones and textures.

Other additions include the Porcelain Limited Edition Print by Ree Hodges, which evokes tranquility, along with the GlobeWest Oliver Fluted 1 Drawer Bedside in Natural Ash and Studio Wall Arch in Brass, creating a warm, spacious welcome into the bedroom. 

To enhance the natural beauty of this bedroom, we selected pieces from our exclusive Coco Collection, made from 100% luxuriously soft pure linen. The Sage hue was chosen to complement the existing tones, working seamlessly with the chosen artwork and bed fabric. Renowned for its durability and breathability, Coco offers an exceptional level of comfort, which is why we knew it was the perfect addition to this space.

This bedroom revitalisation beautifully reimagines the space, from the timeless Natural Ash bedside tables to the luxurious, custom-made King Bed. Granite Lane has not only respected the existing elements but seamlessly embraced the tranquil aesthetic requested by the client.
